Rapid cooling deployment for remote mine substation works

Delivering compliant, high-performance cooling to a remote mining site in under 24 hours
Roy Hill required immediate cooling support at their Pilbara operation to enable planned substation shutdown and upgrade works. The system needed to provide both comfort cooling for site personnel and precise environmental control for technical infrastructure.
The timeline was tight. Equipment had to be packed, transported from Perth, and fully operational within 24 hours. Operating conditions were also demanding. All systems must meet mine-site specifications and perform reliably in extreme Pilbara heat.
The request called for fast mobilisation, mine-compliant equipment, and absolute confidence in execution.

A turnkey cooling package, mobilised and commissioned within a day.
Aircon Hire responded immediately, assembling a complete cooling system to match Roy Hill’s specifications and delivery window.
The package included four 50kW package air conditioners, 160 metres of flexible ducting, and all required cabling and accessories. Logistics were tightly coordinated, with transport from Perth and deployment planned around site access requirements.
The equipment was delivered and commissioned on site in under 24 hours. All systems met mine-spec standards and operated with the stability required to support worker comfort and the critical infrastructure upgrade.
Critical shutdown works were completed on time with full cooling control.
